Congratulations to 16 CDOIC students mathematicians, who competed in the fourth ASDAN American Math Tournament (AMT) in Beijing this month.

　　在我校數(shù)學(xué)老師Lulu Chen和Doris Zhang帶領(lǐng)下，我校16名學(xué)生參加了8月在北京舉辦的ASDAN美式數(shù)學(xué)競賽。學(xué)生們與來自全國各地近600名學(xué)生的78所國際學(xué)校進(jìn)行了競賽。競賽的主席來自美國頂尖大學(xué)，如哈佛、斯坦福、麻省理工學(xué)院和加州大學(xué)伯克利分校。只有頂尖的學(xué)生被選中加入，所以競爭非常激烈。

　　Two of our math teachers, Ms. Doris Zhang and Ms. Lulu Chen, took 16 students in two teams to compete in the ASDAN AMT (ASDAN美式數(shù)學(xué)競賽) this year. Our students competed with nearly 600 students from 78 International Schools from all over the country. The chairmen of the AMT areall from American top universities such as Harvard, Stanford, MIT, and UC Berkeley. Only top students are chosen to join intense and competitive tournament.

　　作為今年中國西南的唯一參與者，我校同學(xué)在個(gè)人測試中取得了非常優(yōu)異的結(jié)果！在近600名數(shù)學(xué)愛好者中，我校以下同學(xué)斬獲佳績：

　　13年級(jí)Smile獲得了代數(shù)：榮譽(yù)獎(jiǎng)

　　12年級(jí)Toby獲得了代數(shù)：榮譽(yù)獎(jiǎng)

　　13年級(jí)Celia獲得了代數(shù)和數(shù)論與組合：榮譽(yù)獎(jiǎng)

　　13年級(jí)Kevin獲得了數(shù)論與組合：優(yōu)異獎(jiǎng)

　　CDOIC were the only participants from Southwest China, and this year we achieved impressive results in the individual section!
